The Buying Process
Azure Overseas are very experienced in taking clients through the purchase process on the Apollon Holiday Village.
Below is a summary of what is involved in purchasing an apartment on the Apollon Holiday Village.
Firstly we arrange an inspection trip for you, this gives clients the opportunity to view the completed phase 1 of the Apollon Holiday Village and inspect the internal and external finish of the development first hand.
You can also view phase 2 of the Apollon Holiday Village which is currently under construction and phase 3 were construction is about to begin.
Clients will pay for their own air fare and the developer will pay for your accommodation and airport transfers once you decide to buy.
In addition to this Azure Overseas will make a contribution towards your air fare up to a maximum of £500.
If clients decide not to buy then clients are responsible for the above costs and no contribution is made by Azure Overseas towards your flight costs.
Once clients decide they want to buy then a purchase contract is drawn up which becomes legally binding with the buyer and the seller and signed by both parties. At this stage the title deeds will be applied for.
This process will currently take between 6-8 months.
Every foreigner now buying in Turkey has to go through a military search and this is largely the reason for this timescale. In the highly unlikely event that you are refused permission to purchase by the Turkish Ministry of Defence you will have the right to transfer the sale over to a third party or have the contract cancelled.
Once the permissions are received back from the military then the title deeds (known locally as Tapu) will go ahead.
Clients then have the option to sign contracts in Turkey or nominate with a power of attorney (POA) someone to represent you.
More often than not clients give POA to one of the directors of Wise Move Homes which allows the developer to undertake the work on your behalf to obtain your title deeds, plus have the water and electric connected and registered in your names as well as pay all due taxes on your behalf.
Full purchasing costs are explained by us in full detail before any contracts are drawn up so you are fully aware of every penny you are spending.
